Thoughts on life from Pat Oaks
We took the Christmas decorations down at church today. I always look forward to the lights and trees at Christmas, but am also glad to pack them away for the next year. I don't need the lights and glitter to remind me that Jesus came into the world, lived, died, rose again, and is coming back. When THAT happens we will think that all of the glitter we have seen on the earth was dull in comparison.
In thinking of what lies ahead for this new year, Tommy and I were talking this morning about a coach he read about in the UK. who had a losing cycling team. He decided to try to make a change by just 1% at a time. I love that. I tend to want to change 100% immediately. You can read the article at this link. I think you will find it worth reading.
